Julius K9 Helicopter and hiking dog harness

This Julius-k9 harness is made of high-quality material and manufactured to high standards. The Julius-K9 carrying harness is inspired by H-harnesses, tactical dog harnesses and safety harnesses. This unique Julius-K9 combination represents the best technical dog harness available today for this type of equipment. It enables you to lift or carry your dog effortlessly, to transport your dog during rescue exercises and to carry a dog that has just been rescued. The backpack harness was designed for the German and Austrian police and army, and has been used for climbing and rescue for over 10 years. The harness is attached to your body by an innovative, unique, ultra-secure fastening system. Reinforcements on the sides and bottom of the harness prevent circulation problems for the dog, no matter how it is worn.

Julius K9 harness is designed to be worn on the back or belly. Simply attach the shoulder straps at chest level. Injured or sick dogs should always be carried at belly level.  It's a harness with handles on both sides. In the event of a hoist, be sure to attach the karabiner to the handles on either side of the harness: the dog must always be secured on both sides.

Julius-K9 helicopter harness and hiking dog harness has been continuously improved in collaboration with rescue teams around the world. The current version of this harness has some unique features:

• The transverse fastening strap has been improved, and the fasteners on all straps have been replaced by quick-release safety latches protected by elongated reflective strips to prevent accidental operation.

• The position and design of the heli-lift handles have been optimized.

• The entire harness padding has been replaced by a combination of more modern, water-repellent materials that optimize pressure distribution on the body.

• The attachment of belly and chest straps has been improved with 50 mm wide fasteners specially developed by Julius-K9® for this application.
